For my kids Sunday is the most boring day of the week. We attend sacarament meeting at the local branch, on an outdoor patio of a small house the church rents. It is shaded and there are fans to help take the edge of the heat off, but when it gets this hot there is no way around sweating. For my kids it is an especially tiresome hour because they don't understand a word that anyone is saying. After sacrament we walk back home and have a primary lesson for the kids in our living room. They spend the rest of the day trying to kill the boredom, which usually leads to enormous messes.
That is a pile of used drawing paper that my kids were in the process of recycling into confetti to throw for their parade.
Our kids had their own foreign church experience yesterday when we attended our new ward. They were so nervous. Everyone stared at them too. The difference (big difference) was they could understand everything that was said.
